Marketing for vets
22/3/2018
Working with Mark Bush and Martin Owen at the East of England Veterinary Specialists over the past few months has been an absolute pleasure.
Nothing inspires me more than witnessing the passion, energy and confidence of two very talented individuals, taking the plunge and setting up a new veterinary practice from scratch, and not only making it happen, but excelling at it from day one.
We teamed up with Catfish Web Design and Sarah Croft on this project to create a marketing plan that would deliver a completely new brand, a strong web presence and an engaging social media profile for our clients, two of the UK's leading orthopaedic vets.
Our first task was to develop a brand identity for the new practice, which involved designing a logo, brainstorming company names and defining the services they would be offering to their clients.
Mark and Martin wanted a brand that would convey 3 messages:
Our social media campaign began well before the designs for the new practice had even left the architects. We wanted to create a buzz of excitement and build genuine interest from day one, using real onsite photos and weekly progress updates.
Facebook and Linked In works really well for our vets social media, Facebook taps into the emotional and personal side of the veterinary industry and tells a story through bespoke imagery, case studies and client reviews. Linked In tunes in to the professional veterinary network, and is particularly effective for connecting with veterinary partners, veterinary practices and suppliers.
Their new website is an organic, dynamic and functional tool which provides a subtle balance of information and personality, which should appeal to professional vets and pet owners alike.
